Re:Increment: I Woke Up as the Weakest Hunter
Die on day 60. Wake up on day 1. Remember everything.
You died in your own world and woke up in the body of the weakest E-rank hunter in this one. In sixty days the Monarchs come through the Gates and everything ends. You will not be ready. You will die, and the System will send you back to day one — with your memory, your Shadows and your System Points intact.
The world resets. You do not.
What you actually do
Every action is a bar with an end and a reward: train, take a gate raid, sit an Association exam, choose a guild, extract a fallen boss as a Shadow. The day budget is the whole game — sixty days, and every hour you spend is an hour you cannot spend elsewhere.
Then you die and do it again, faster. Body memory makes repeated actions quicker. The System Shop turns deaths into permanent multipliers. The Regression Protocol runs your opening for you, so life twelve does not cost you the clicks of life one.
Why it is not just bigger numbers
- You see yourself overtake yourself. Every bar carries a marker of your previous life. Rank D took you until day 48 once; now it takes until day 2.
- Death is always a choice. Combat is fully deterministic — the card tells you whether you win and what it costs before you commit. You die to the deadline, or because you walked into a red fight on purpose. Never to a dice roll.
- No route is a dead end. Fifteen class × guild combinations, and a simulator checks every one of them reaches every rank. That is a test in the build, not a promise on a page.
- No empty waiting. If there is nothing to press and nothing to read for fifteen seconds, that is a bug, not pacing.
Features
- 82 actions across nine locations, from a hospital corridor to a Monarch's hall
- 5 classes × 3 guilds, each with its own engine of growth
- Shadows: every named boss you kill stands behind you for every life after
- A planner that plays your opening while you decide what is next
- Deterministic combat — no randomness anywhere in the game, by design
- Ten languages: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português (BR), Русский, 日本語, 简体中文, 한국어
- Free, browser, no account, no ads
About your save. Progress lives in this browser on this device. itch serves the game from its own storage-partitioned origin, so clearing site data or switching browsers starts you at life one. There is no cloud save yet — the menu has Copy save and Paste save, so keep the string somewhere if you care about the run.
Controls
Mouse for everything. `1`–`9` switch locations, `Space` pauses, `P` opens the planner, `B` the System Shop, `Esc` the menu.
Found a bug? `Esc` → Report a bug. It copies what happened plus your run's numbers to the clipboard; paste that into a comment here and I can reproduce it.
Made solo. Feedback in the comments is read and acted on.
